This course provides deeper insights in Linux System and Network Administration. Starting from the basics of Linux Kernel, the course digs deep into Linux Booting process , Linux processes management and Virtual Console. We will next talk about the Linux package management solutions available on different Linux distributions. Next, we dealt with Linux Shell scripting; we will get interesting insights on the Virtualisation before talking about LVM disk and storage. Finally we introduce the learners to Network and Networking services configuration under Linux.
This course introduces the learners to the basics of Linux Operating System. It begins with an overview of OS functions followed by a brief history of the Linux family OSes. Next, we will go through : the Shell CLI feature, Text processing in Linux and Linux File System Hierarchy. We conclude the course with some basics Linux Security features.
